About Sylvia

Hello, my name is Sylvia, and I am a Trainee Integrative Counsellor working towards my professional qualification. My path to therapy has been shaped by my experience supporting individuals through the complexities of clinical negligence legal claims and my work as a helpline volunteer. These roles taught me how vital it is to offer a calm, steady presence when people are navigating uncertainty, distress, or life-changing events. Originally from Poland and now based in the UK for over a decade, I bring a warm, culturally aware, and inclusive perspective to my work.

Area of Focus

I offer support with a range of issues, including: • Anxiety and stress • Low mood and emotional distress • Self-esteem and confidence • Relationship difficulties and separation • Loneliness and isolation • Work-related stress • Life transitions • Immigration-related challenges, including adjustment, identity, and cultural differences

What to Expect

I offer a confidential and supportive space where you can bring the things that matter to you. I offer sessions in both English and Polish, creating an environment where you can express yourself in the way that feels most natural and safe. My practice is guided by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework, and I am committed to ensuring that every client feels respected, understood, and supported throughout our work together.

Let's Connect

Reaching out for support can feel difficult, and taking that first step often takes courage. You do not have to do it alone — I am here to walk alongside you at a pace that feels right for you.
