Sophie Paget

Hi, I’m Sophie. I’m an integrative trainee counsellor, working towards my NCPS-accredited Advanced Diploma in Counselling, at Heartwood Counselling and Psychotherapy in London. My passion for psychology, curiosity in people and personal experience with mental health challenges have shaped my path into counselling. My journey began when I looked at my own life and started to live within my values of growth, wellbeing and continual learning. As a BACP member, I adhere to its ethical framework, attending regular supervision and engage in continuous personal and professional development.

Beginning therapy can feel daunting, especially if it's your first time. My priority is for us to get to know each other and explore what has brought you here. Whether you are navigating life’s challenges, looking to gain more self-awareness and understanding, or both, I aim to provide a collaborative space, where the focus is on you, and your journey. My role is to walk alongside you as you deepen your self-awareness, understand your story in greater depth, and feel empowered to lead the life you want to lead. We will work at a pace that suits you, in a way that suits you. I encourage regular feedback and working collaboratively, therefore I endeavour to conduct regular check-ins so that we can make adaptions that suit your needs.
