Sinead O'Connor
Counsellor
Hi there, I’m Sinead. I am a trainee integrative therapist currently studying an MSc in Counselling and Coaching. I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood, whatever you may be going through. Alongside my counselling training, I bring over 10 years’ experience supporting individuals through challenging and often crisis situations. I have worked with both adults and young people navigating complex relationships, emotional fatigue, and the impact of trauma and loss. I bring an attachment- and trauma-informed perspective to my work. This experience has shaped my ability to remain calm and grounded, particularly when things feel overwhelming or difficult to hold alone. No topic is too big or too small.
Taking the first step into counselling, or returning to it, can feel daunting. If you feel I might be the right fit for you, you are very welcome to reach out. We can work together at a pace that feels comfortable and right for you.
As an integrative practitioner, I draw on different perspectives, guided by what feels most helpful for you. I believe that the relationship we build together is at the heart of the therapeutic process. I aim to offer a warm, non-judgmental and confidential space where you can explore your experiences safely. Sessions are 50 minutes, and we will work collaboratively at a pace that feels right for you. This is a space where you don’t need to have everything figured out. It’s where you can begin to unmask and express your vulnerability and worries, feeling heard and supported
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of approaches to support you in a way that feels most helpful and meaningful for you. I understand that each person’s experiences are unique, and I will tailor our work to reflect your individual needs. I place importance on creating a space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings with curiosity and compassion. I am particularly interested in supporting you to develop self-compassion and a deeper understanding of yourself. We can work at a pace that feels right for you, whether that feels slower and more reflective, or more dynamic and focused, always guided by your needs. I aim to work in a way that feels collaborative and supportive, helping you to make sense of your experiences and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
