Philippa Dillon
Counsellor
I’m a trainee psychotherapist at the Minster Centre in London, studying for a Masters degree in Integrative Psychotherapy. Prior to this I worked in the charity sector for 12 years, in women’s and refugee rights, and I have volunteered in emotional support roles for vulnerable or distressed people. I offer long or short-term therapy, in-person or online from Queen’s Park, London.
As an integrative therapist, I use a range of approaches in my sessions and I will adapt my approach depending on what you need in the moment. Ultimately, I aim to offer empathy, and a sense of safety to allow you to freely explore your experiences and feelings, and work through any issues you are facing.
I aim to create a warm, neutral, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, and better understand how you are feeling. Whether you have something specific to work on, or you just need somewhere safe to open up, I will listen and give you that space. My own therapy has transformed the way I understand myself and my emotions, and I know much of that is down to a strong connection with my therapist. I believe building a trusting relationship and working together is key to successful therapy.
I am interested in working with people from all backgrounds, identities, and sexualities, and I’m open to all experiences and mental health issues. Some key areas include anxiety, parenthood, fertility, identity, loss, relationships, family issues, and women’s health. If you want to give therapy a go, please get in touch and let’s see how we can work together.
