Millie Satow
Counsellor
Hi my name is Millie, and I am currently a doctoral student of Counselling Psychology at the University of Roehampton, having previously completed my MSc in Psychology. It isn’t always easy to start this journey and find someone who you connect with. I would love to help you explore what feels right for your mental and emotional health.
I have experience working with a wide range of issues, such as stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and navigating life transitions, such as relationship endings, moving, or a career change. I have an interest in exploring the impacts of racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism and neuro-normativity.
I will provide a warm, steady presence alongside you, whether you have a specific goal in mind or just a general sense that things aren't right. I have a background working for ten years in NHS health services, which means I am also well-equipped to support individuals facing the stresses of high-pressure frontline work. I’m here to support professionals navigating burnout, helping you protect your wellbeing amidst a demanding environment. I am more than happy to explore whatever you find helpful, and I am open to wherever your thoughts and feelings take us.
If you feel like we might be a good match, I’m really looking forward to meeting you and starting this journey together
