About Mike

Welcome. My name is Michael, and I am a 2nd year psychotherapy trainee from the Minster Centre. Originally from Manchester, in the north-east of the UK, I am an individual of dual heritage. I have previous experience as a mental health support provider for a local authority-owned Community Interest Company and now as a psychotherapist I desire to bring therapeutic assistance to individuals from all walks of life.

Area of Focus

I am enthusiastic and confident to work with you on all kinds of presenting issues. Together, we can explore issues around race, gender, identity, depression, trauma, addiction, suicide, existence and more.

What to Expect

I believe that no matter your background, you are entitled to dignity and a sense of safety. You can expect a therapeutic relationship that is respectful and sensitive to diverse cultural practices, beliefs and values, and a practice that is anti-discriminatory and anti-racist. My core beliefs are that while life’s challenges can be immense, growth and change are possible.
