Marc Righo
Counsellor
I am an integrative trainee psychotherapist, currently completing my training at the Minster Centre in London. I am bilingual in English and French. Before training as a therapist, I practiced in arts and media fields, which informs my sensitivity to expression, meaning, and the many ways people communicate with and beyond words. I am passionate about psychotherapy and convinced of its capacity to support meaningful and lasting change.
I have over ten years of experience in the field of addiction and recovery, as well as with relational and attachment difficulties. I work with trauma, grief, neurodiversity challenges, anxiety, low confidence, and feelings of overwhelm. I am committed to an inclusive, informed, and respectful practice, and to understanding how wider contexts and lived experience and oppression may shape emotional wellbeing. I am also interested in how trauma can be held in both mind and body, whether consciously or unconsciously, and how this may show up in everyday life.
I aim to offer a grounded, attentive, and supportive therapeutic space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. I work with curiosity and compassion, paying close attention to what is present for you, both emotionally and physically. Sessions are collaborative and client led, with an emphasis on safety, respect, and trust.
If you are curious about starting therapy or would like to arrange an initial consultation, I would be happy to hear from you and explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
