About Liz

Hi, I’m Liz. I am a trainee counsellor studying for my Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I have worked in the not-for-profit sector for the past 20 years, primarily for organisations that work directly with children and young people. This experience and the skills I have developed – particularly the art of listening – have led me today to a career in counselling. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical framework.

Area of Focus

Some people bring a range of issues to therapy – anxiety, depression, low self-esteem - others just want to discuss what is on their mind or better understand themselves and their relationships. I am open to supporting what feels important to you.

What to Expect

At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship, and creating a safe, non-judgmental space for you to express who you really are. Through my own counselling experience, I have learnt what a unique and invaluable relationship it can be to help someone navigate life’s challenges. Whether you are coming with a specific issue or looking for someone to talk to, I am here to listen and help you feel heard.

Let's Connect

I believe that counselling should be accessible for all, and I can be flexible at connecting at a time that works best for you. It can be hard to take the first step to find support, but if you think I can help, please reach out.
