Laini Vickers
Counsellor
Hi I’m Laini. I am a counselling psychology doctorate trainee. Originally from Ireland, I have lived in London and abroad for many years. Before my career in psychology, I worked in client services and people management which deepened my interest in how people experience change and how environments can shape wellbeing. As a trainee psychologist, I have gained experience in both the NHS and private settings, supporting people through times of transition, uncertainty, and distress. I adhere to the BACP code of ethics.
I have worked with people facing anxiety, depression, relational challenges, grief, and trauma. My experience also includes perinatal and parenting work, and dealing with neurodiversity, especially ADHD and how it interacts with daily routines and periods of transition. I know that beginning therapy can feel daunting, and, above all, I aim to offer a warm, non-judgmental space where whatever you bring is welcome.
I will welcome you with openness, curiosity, and compassion. Whether you are struggling with something specific or feeling more generally stuck, my hope is to support you in exploring your thoughts and feelings at a pace and in a way that feels comfortable, supportive, safe, and genuinely your own.
I’d be happy to hear from you if you’d like to explore working together. I offer weekly online short- or long-term therapy.
