Kate Oliver
Counsellor
Hi, I’m Kate (she/her). I’m working towards my professional qualification in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Minster Centre, and have previously completed a Graduate Certificate in Humanistic and Psychodynamic Counselling at Goldsmiths University. Outside of counselling, I’ve spent my career in the charity sector supporting adults and young people, and volunteer at a listening helpline. I am a student member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and work to their ethical framework.
I work with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns - whatever you bring is welcome. Topics include anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, relationship difficulties, LGBTQIA+ experiences and identities, eco-anxiety, low self-esteem, health and body concerns, isolation, and loss. Whatever’s on your mind, this is your space to be listened to and supported.
You may be feeling stuck, unsure, overwhelmed or struggling. Reaching out to a therapist can feel hard, so know that whatever you bring, I will meet you with empathy and without judgement. Together we will discuss your thoughts and feelings, giving you the space to find new understanding of your experiences, and support for new ways forward.
If you feel like I’d be the right fit for you, please get in touch. I have availability for in-person or online sessions, and look forward to connecting with you.
