About Jane

Hi there, I’m Jane, a trainee counsellor at Inside Talk and currently working towards my professional qualification in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I offer a warm, compassionate space for those who may be feeling overwhelmed, unheard, or uncertain about where to turn. I believe therapy should feel like a collaborative and empowering process where you can explore with support, care and empathy. Alongside my clinical training, my earlier career as a television producer informs my work. This experience taught me the value of listening, understanding diverse perspectives, and supporting people through challenging times. It has also given me a lived understanding of pressure, responsibility, and the demands that can accompany professional life and how these can contribute to stress, burnout, or a sense of disconnection. I’m here for you for whatever challenges you may be facing. I provide an empathetic and non-judgmental place where you can bring whatever is on your mind. Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace in a calm, safe space. I believe that building a trusting relationship is the starting point for our work. We all have difficult times in our lives, and you don’t have to face them alone. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, depressed or anxious, therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and begin to feel more grounded. Our sessions offer a regular moment in your week that is just for you – to make sense of things and feel supported in whatever you’re facing. I am a student member of the BACP and adhere to their ethical framework. I attend clinical supervision.

Area of Focus

Hi there, I’m Jane, a trainee counsellor at Inside Talk and currently working towards my professional qualification in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I offer a warm, compassionate space for those who may be feeling overwhelmed, unheard, or uncertain about where to turn. My approach is integrative, with person-centred values at its core. This means I adapt our work to suit you as an individual, drawing from different therapeutic approaches to support what feels most helpful in your life right now and placing your unique experiences, needs, and goals at the heart of our sessions. Beginning therapy, or returning to it, can feel daunting.

What to Expect

Beginning therapy, or returning to it, can feel daunting. People often come to counselling during times when life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or when they are navigating change. I offer a relaxed space where these experiences can be explored in a warm, non-judgmental, and emotionally safe environment. I will meet you where you are, and we will work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with sensitivity and understanding.
