Hannah Stelzner
Counsellor
Hello! My name is Hannah and I am a trainee counselling psychologist at the University of Roehampton. I have lived and worked in the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom. I transitioned from working in the creative industries – music and fashion – to a career in psychology. I have worked across a diverse range of mental health settings for the past five years, including a medical clinic, a secondary school, and in the NHS as well as volunteering for mental health charities. My professional and personal experiences have shown me how each person’s story is unique, and I aim to provide equitable and inclusive care that meets your individual needs.
I work with people experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood and depression, loneliness, relationship struggles, stress, life transitions, identity, and self-esteem. I aim to walk alongside you in whatever you may be struggling with and to provide you with hope that change and healing is possible.
In our sessions, you can expect a safe, impartial, understanding space to explore your experiences, work through what has brought you to therapy, enhance your self-awareness, and help alleviate any issues you might be going through in your life. Starting therapy can be daunting and it is my priority to provide you with an environment that feels warm and welcoming.
If you feel that we might be a good fit for working together or have any questions, please do get in touch. I offer online and face-to-face sessions.
