About Elizabet

My name is Elizabet, and I am an integrative psychotherapist currently studying at London Metropolitan University on a BACP-accredited course. Training within a recognised ethical framework has strengthened my commitment to offering therapy with care, professionalism, compassion, and integrity. Alongside developing my counselling practice, I have volunteered in supportive roles, including within befriending services and at East London NHS Foundation Trust, where I have worked with a wide range of adults, including individuals with ADHD and slow processing difficulties. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the emotional, relational, and practical challenges people may carry, and of how transformative it can be to feel genuinely listened to, respected, and supported without judgement. In addition to my therapeutic work, I have also taught students and young people, which has given me a strong appreciation of the pressures many individuals face today, including anxiety, self-doubt, academic stress, uncertainty about the future, and the feeling of constantly needing to meet expectations. Across all of my work, I aim to create a warm, thoughtful, and emotionally safe space where people feel understood, valued, and able to explore their experiences openly and at their own pace. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life. You may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from your current life, or uncertain about where to turn. Perhaps you find yourself stuck in patterns of overthinking or ‘running thoughts’ that are difficult to quiet, replaying past experiences or relationships that you cannot seem to move on from despite trying deeply to do so. Sometimes unresolved shame, internal conflict, grief, or unprocessed emotions can leave people feeling emotionally trapped, disconnected, or unable to fully move forward in life. I have experience supporting individuals navigating these kinds of struggles, including those who feel persistently lonely, unsupported, or as though they carry everything alone. I also understand how difficult it can be when life no longer feels fulfilling in the way it once did, when you feel emotionally tired, disconnected from the people around you, or uncertain about your direction and purpose. Alongside this, I have experience working with both adults and teenagers facing anxiety, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, social anxiety, ADHD, slower processing, and wider emotional or relational challenges. I warmly welcome neurodivergent clients, as well as clients from LGBTQIA+ communities, and I deeply value the importance of social, cultural, and relational context in shaping our experiences, identities, and emotional worlds. Across all of my work, I aim to offer a space where clients feel genuinely heard, emotionally safe, and able to explore themselves without fear of judgement.

Area of Focus

My name is Elizabet, and I am an integrative psychotherapist currently studying at London Metropolitan University on a BACP-accredited course. Training within a recognised ethical framework has strengthened my commitment to offering therapy with care, professionalism, compassion, and integrity. My approach to therapy is integrative, which means I do not believe one single therapeutic model fits every person or every difficulty. Instead, I draw from different approaches depending on your needs, personality, life experiences, and what feels most helpful for you at that point in your journey. I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly about whatever is on your mind, whether that is anxiety, relationship difficulties, overthinking, loneliness, feeling emotionally stuck, or simply feeling unlike yourself lately.

What to Expect

I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly about whatever is on your mind, whether that is anxiety, relationship difficulties, overthinking, loneliness, feeling emotionally stuck, or simply feeling unlike yourself lately. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy, and there is no pressure to explain things perfectly. Our sessions will move at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable for you. Some people come wanting to explore past experiences and understand why certain patterns keep repeating in their lives. Others may need support with present-day struggles such as overwhelming thoughts, low self-worth, emotional exhaustion, life transitions, or feeling disconnected from themselves or others. Therapy can also simply be a space where you no longer have to carry everything alone. Starting therapy, or returning to it, can feel unfamiliar or daunting at first, especially if you are used to keeping things to yourself or feeling that others may not fully understand. My aim is to help create a space where you feel emotionally safe, listened to, and accepted without judgement. Even when your thoughts may tell you otherwise, you do not have to go through things alone.
