About Eleanor

Hello, my name is Eleanor and I am a psychotherapist in training (MA / level 7) at Roehampton University. I have worked in a range of client facing roles including a charity supporting vulnerable adults suffering from loneliness and isolation. This highlighted the need for everyone to have access to affordable quality therapy. I am a member of the BACP and adhere to their ethical guidelines.

Area of Focus

I work with people experiencing a number of different presenting issues, from anxiety, depression, loneliness, relationship struggles, grief, abuse and self-esteem. We will explore the relationship with yourself, your experience in the world and the meanings you create in that world. I will be there to support you through times that you feel like you are struggling to survive daily life and times that you feel like you are thriving.

What to Expect

We all deserve to have a person in our life who will listen compassionately without judgement and someone who cares. First and foremost, I try to offer and facilitate a space to be heard and I am passionate about the benefits of talking therapy. Through therapy we can better understand our past and present situations. In order to make sense of this we need someone who is able to hear and see us for who we truly are.

Let's Connect

Therapy is not always easy and sometimes getting started is the hardest part. However, it can be enlightening and life changing, and from my own perspective, has helped me in so many different aspects of my life where I have struggled. If you have any questions about beginning therapy or just want to chat, please do get in touch. I offer online and face to face counselling.
