Alex Macauley

I am currently training as a humanistic integrative counsellor at CPPD counselling school where I completed the diploma and now studying at the advanced diploma level. Previous to this I completed 2 years counselling training at Birkbeck University. The course I am studying is BACP accredited, which means that I am held to a high ethical standard in regards to my practice.

I believe that the foundation of effective therapy is a strong, collaborative relationship built on trust, safety, and mutual respect. My approach is integrative, drawing primarily from humanistic and psychodynamic traditions to help you gain a clearer understanding of yourself and the challenges you face.
